HANDS-ON ZIRCONIA IMPLANTS offers a broad overview of the methods and techniques involved in case planning and implanting zirconia dental implants. The course also covers the principles and techniques performing internal sinus lifts. The first part is a lecture by Dr. Kneer about zirconia implants’ special properties, different surgical techniques between zirconia and titanium, case planning and avoiding failures. He will also use verified case studies to highlight the advantages of placing zirconia dental implants.
Temporization and final restorations will also be discussed. The second part will be “Hands-On” where participants will be given the opportunity to place zirconia implants in artificial jaws. Dr. Kneer will lead the hands-on part with a demonstration of the techniques involved. That will be followed by personalized instruction during which the attendees place zirconia implants and perform internal sinus lifts. The session will end with Q&A, and a discussion about business and marketing zirconia implants.
Head of the Dental Department of the SWISS BIOHEALTH CLINIC
Dr. Moritz Kneer completed his studies dentistry, oral medicine and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Ulm. He trained under Dr. Volz in zirconia implants and LSCC under Dr. Shahram Ghanaati. He also specializes in Sport dentistry and is a member of the Swiss BioHealth Academy.
